National Open Karate Championship
The first National Open Karate Championship 2015 was held on October 2014 at SCSVMV University Auditorium, Kancheepuram. This event was meant only for Junior and Senior categories.
Six students from Alagappa Matriculation Hr Sec School, One from Alagappa Preparatory School and one from Dr Alagappa Academy, took part in this event. Other participants were from Karnataka, Kerala, Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab, Haryana and Assam. It is very proud to announce that most of the winners are from one roof ie Alagappa Schools, Karaikudi.
Alagappa Matriculation Higher Secondary School students bagged more prizes and brought laurels to the Institution. The winners are –
