Girls Trekking Camp at Ooty

Cadet B. Venisha, AMHSS of 9th standard took part in All India Girls Trekking Camp at Ooty. 222 Cadets participated from all over India viz., like West Bengal, Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kerala, Orissa and Tamil Nadu, etc. In that she won the second Prize in Drawing representing for Tamil Nadu.

Inter Group Competition (IGC) – TSC – Shooting at Madurai Agricultural College

A NEW HORIZON with a bubbling energy and a long passion C. Hariharan, 9th standard, NCC student stand as testimony of Alagappa Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Karaikudi. He represented NCC in Inter Group Competition (IGC) – TSC – Shooting at Madurai Agricultural College. It went on with many levels. He bagged the First Prize – Gold Medal in state level. It is not an essay task but with the great motivation given by the school and training under the command by Commanding Officer Col John Louis Raj and PI staff of 9(TN) BN NCC, Karaikudi and the support of his parents Mr. R. Chellam and Mrs. C. Thamaraiselvi achieved the target.

The correspondent Dr. Umayal Ramanathan, the chairman, Mr. Ramanath Vairavan, the principal Mrs. Anandhi Thiyagarajan, the Vice Principal Mr. Kumaran Ganeshan and the NCC teacher Mrs. Kavipriya honoured and all encouraged him for the next National Level competition going to held at Delhi.
